Here are some sites to kick off the story site project.

This awesome tumblr blog is a directory of interactive narratives. From the few I have looked through the quality seems very high. Most of these are more documentary oriented.

See if you can figure out how it works, or if there is a script or plugin you can use to achieve a certain effect.
